HAROLD C. ANDERSON
CO-FOUNDER | ADVISOR EMERITUS
Harold Anderson’s career inspiration began with his grandfather’s example of integrity. During the Great Depression, his grandfather, who sold life insurance, would often pay his clients’ premiums when they could not. Harold also witnessed the hard-learned financial lessons of other family members; as a young man, he chose to learn all he could to help others avoid similar mistakes. As Parkshore's co-founder and an advisor until his retirement in 2025, he led a team dedicated to helping clients build and maintain long-term financial security.
For nearly half a century, Harold worked with clients on comprehensive plans encompassing retirement, tax, and estate planning. He found it particularly gratifying to help navigate financial challenges and solve everyday issues. Among his most satisfying career achievements was founding Parkshore with son Daniel Andersen.
Now retired, Harold remains a valued presence at the firm, frequently stopping by the office to say hello. He devotes much of his time to woodworking, a longtime passion, including building new cabinetry for the Parkshore office. He is also exploring the craft of chocolate making as an amateur chocolatier. Harold and his wife, Darlene, live in the Sierra Foothills of California, where they enjoy time with their four adult children and their spouses, and 17 grandchildren.
